Assessment Information

The Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) for grades 3 - 8 measures learning of two subjects - English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics.  More information about the transition from PARCC to IAR is available from ISBE.

The Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) measures science proficiency for fifth grade, eighth grade, and high school biology students.

The Illinois testing window for both tests will range from:

      • March 11 through April 26

Schools will determine the actual days within the window that work best in their schedule.

PSAT testing for freshmen and sophomores and the School-Day SAT for juniors will be on Tuesday, April 9.

The window for Spring i-Ready Diagnostic for Reading and Math diagnostics will be from April 23 through May 3. Parent reports will be sent home prior to the end of the school year.
