Dual Credit Program

  • District 300 offers our high school students several opportunities to earn tuition-free college credit. For additional information, students should speak with their counselor.

    ECC Full-Time Pathway

    High school juniors can enroll as full-time students, during the day, and take a full year of college classes leading to a two-year Associates Degree (24 to 32 hours of a 60-hour program).

    Associate Degrees include:

    • Associate of Arts
    • Associate of Science

    District 300 will cover the cost of tuition; students will be responsible for the cost of books, provide their own transportation, and own their own device. A D300 Chromebook will not be provided.

    Available to high school juniors and seniors.

    Students must be current students enrolled full-time in a District 300 high school at the time of enrollment to be considered for placement.

     

    ECC Part-Time General Education Courses

    High school seniors can enroll as part-time students, during the school day.  For course information regarding Dual Credit courses, please click here.

    D300 covers the cost of tuition; students are responsible for the cost of books and for providing their own transportation.

    Available to High School juniors and seniors.

    Students may not take more than 7 credit hours per semester.

    Students must be current students enrolled full-time in a District 300 high school at the time of enrollment to be considered for placement.

     

    ECC Part-Time Career Technical Education Courses

    High school seniors can enroll as part-time students, during the school day, and take college classes in over 20 career and technical areas. Industry-recognized certification is available in a number of high-demand areas.

    Important Dates

    • Dual Credit Contract & Applications due to counselors by no later than February 1st
    • All ECC-required placement exams must be completed by no later than February 15th
    • Admission decisions will be determined on or before March 15th
