Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) Parent Portal
-
The Illinois State Board of Education now hosts an Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) Parent Portal, which allows parents and guardians to view their child’s performance on IAR tests for English language arts and math.
Instructions for how to set up and use an IAR Parent Portal account are available in the “Illinois IAR Parent Portal User Guide” found at https://il-results.pearsonaccessnext.com/login.
Please note: Users will need the “Claim Code” found on any paper copy of a student’s IAR Individual Student Report to access specific IAR information. Information is available starting with the spring 2021 test results.
Benefits of the IAR Parent Portal include:
- Being able to monitor your child’s learning progress through the years, as each IAR test score is made available
- Having continual access to your student’s IAR test score history even when you move to another school district within the state of Illinois
- Having access to personalized Individual Student Report videos that communicate information about your child’s test scores through animations and a voiceover in Illinois’ seven most common languages: English, Spanish, Polish, Arabic, French, Urdu, and Gujarati
