Assessment Information

    • Standardized Assessments for the 2018 – 2019 School Year:

      High School Updates

      • The State of Illinois has approved the use of PSAT testing for 9thand 10th graders to go along with the 11th grade School Day SAT.

        • The State-Funded PSAT/SAT test date is scheduled for April 9, 2019

      • Details on the Fall PSAT testing will be communicated after things are finalized.

      Elementary and Middle School Updates

      • The State of Illinois is presently exploring options for the standardized state testing for grades 3 – 8.

        • The new name for the test will be the Illinois Assessment of Readiness for Grades 3 – 8 (IAR).

      • IAR is expected to remain aligned to the previous test.

        • The details will be communicated as soon as the state finalizes the decision.

      Standardized testing that remains the same as last year includes ACCESS, DLM, AP testing, and the Illinois Science Assessment. Additionally, the Elementary and Middle School i-Ready Testing Windows and the High School Final Test Windows remains at the same time frame as in the 2017-2018 school year.
