Hampshire Middle School offers a variety of athletic programs for boys and girls. Please complete the registration to participate in school athletics.
The sports and coaches along with schedules and documents can be accessed below.
HMS Athletic Philosophy:
- The coaches, athletic department, and faculty of Hampshire Middle School insist on the academic achievement of our student-athletes. Additionally, we support the promotion of sportsmanship, integrity, and modeling ethical behavior as goals of our teams. Hampshire Middle School believes that the behavior of our athletes reflect the team, our school, and our community.

Requirements:
- Prior to the tryouts, athletes must have completed an updated 2023-24 Sports Physical signed by a doctor or medical group and also have the Athletic Participation Card (AP-Card) completely filled out. (You can find these documents on the bottom of the Athletics page to download and print) Please return them to the main office.
- Prior to participation in any games or meets, all athletes must pay the current athletic fee of $75. All fees must be paid through Push Coin.
- Students participating in athletics must meet academic eligibility standards established by the Athletic Board.

Any 7th and 8th graders interested in joining track and field you will need to get your paperwork into the office by March 20th. Paperwork can be obtained in the office or online. If you are getting a physical during spring break, you still need to hand the other paperwork in to let coaches know who will be coming out for the team and you still need to attend the first practice. The season will start March 21st, which is the Thursday BEFORE spring break and is different than when we started last year. Practices will be after school and end at 5:00 pm.
