Liberty Elementary School will implement the following arrival and dismissal procedures for the 2024-2025 school year to keep our students, families, and staff safe. Please review the procedures below before dropping off or picking up students. Additionally, a map for your reference has been included. These procedures apply to all families except those with extended care students through the Dundee Park District. We understand that pick-up and drop-off times can be stressful, but we ask parents to be patient and courteous to our staff and each other during this time. Thank you for your support and assistance!
Morning Arrival
Arrival Time: Student supervision begins at 7:45 a.m. (9:45 a.m. on late start dates). Please do not drop off your students before 7:45 a.m., as they will not be admitted into the building or supervised before that time.
Walkers: Students enter through Door 1.
Car Riders: For the convenience of our car riders, we have implemented a one-way turnaround system. Car riders should be prepared to exit their car on the passenger side of the car and utilize the entire length of the drop off zone. This makes for a more efficient arrival period.
After your child exits your vehicle, please maintain a safe speed to pull around the circle and exit the parking lot. Traffic will be flowing in both directions, which is why safe speeds and students exiting on the passenger side of the car are both imperative. Supervisors will be present to assist students out of the vehicle and guide them into the building through Door #1. We kindly ask that parents/guardians remain in their car at all times. When exiting the parking lot, parents/guardians will turn right onto Miller Rd and exit the campus.
(Car riders should not be dropping students off in the bus/staff parking lot)
Bus Riders: When getting on the bus, students must scan their Z-pass provided by D300. You can track your child’s bus by utilizing the app available on Android/Apple. To learn more about our D300 Bus Zone app, click here. (Remember that students will be provided one free-of-charge replacement; any other cards made after the replacement will be charged $3.00. When arriving at Liberty on the bus, students enter the building through Door #1. Bus Supervisors are present to help guide students to the appropriate entrance.
Classroom Drop-Off: Parents may not enter the building to take students to class. (IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER 8 AM ON REGULAR SCHOOL DAYS OR 10 AM ON LATE START DATES, YOU MUST PARK YOUR VEHICLE AND SIGN YOUR STUDENT IN AT THE MAIN OFFICE.)
Afternoon Student Pick-Up
Walkers: Students walking home from Liberty Elementary will exit Door #7.
Car Riders: This is a one-way turnaround, so please follow the signs. Parents/Guardians should pull into the pickup lane and pull all the way forward before letting their student into their car. Students must enter the vehicle on the passenger side for safety. Supervisors will be present to assist students to the vehicle and guide them. Parents/Guardians must remain in their car at all times. When exiting the parking lot, parents/guardians will turn right onto Miller Rd and exit the campus. Parents must have a number sign displayed on the passenger side of the windshield for our dismissal supervisors to see. Bus Riders: Students that ride the bus home will exit through Door #1 and get on their bus parked in the bus lane. Support staff will assist students as they walk to their buses. Students must scan their Z-pass provided by D300. You can track your child’s bus by utilizing the app available on Android/apple. To learn more about our D300 Bus Zone app, click here. La Escuela Primaria Liberty implementará los siguientes procedimientos de llegada y salida para el año escolar 2024-2025 para mantener seguros a nuestros estudiantes, familias y personal. Por favor revise los procedimientos abajo antes de dejar o recoger a los estudiantes. Además, se ha incluido un mapa para su referencia. Estos procedimientos se aplican a todas las familias excepto aquellas con estudiantes de cuidado extendido a través del Distrito de Parques de Dundee. Llegada por la mañana

Caminantes: Los alumnos entran por la puerta 1.
Coche: Para la conveniencia de nuestros pasajeros, hemos implementado un sistema de vuelta en un solo sentido. Los conductores deben estar preparados para salir de su coche por el lado del pasajero y utilizar toda la longitud de la zona de bajada. De este modo, el periodo de llegada será más eficiente.
Después de que su niño salga de su vehículo, por favor mantenga una velocidad segura para dar la vuelta al círculo y salir del estacionamiento. El tráfico fluirá en ambas direcciones, por lo que es imprescindible mantener una velocidad segura y que los alumnos salgan por el lado del acompañante. Habrá supervisores presentes para ayudar a los alumnos a salir del vehículo y guiarlos hacia el interior del edificio por la puerta nº 1. Rogamos a los padres/tutores que permanezcan en sus coches en todo momento. Al salir del estacionamiento, los padres/tutores girarán a la derecha en Miller Rd y saldrán del campus.
(Los que van en auto no deben dejar a los estudiantes en el estacionamiento de autobuses/personal)
Pasajeros de Autobús: Al subir al autobús, los estudiantes deben escanear su Zpass proporcionado por D300. Usted puede rastrear el autobús de su hijo utilizando la aplicación disponible en Android/Apple. Recogida de alumnos por la tarde
Caminantes: Los estudiantes que caminan a casa desde Liberty Elementary saldrán por la puerta #7.
Conductores de coches: Esta es una vuelta de un solo sentido, así que por favor siga las señales. Los padres/tutores deben estacionarse en el carril de recogida y tirar todo el camino hacia adelante antes de dejar que su estudiante entre en su coche. Los estudiantes deben entrar al vehículo por el lado del pasajero por seguridad. Habrá supervisores presentes para ayudar a los alumnos a subir al vehículo y guiarlos. Los padres/tutores deben permanecer en su coche en todo momento. Al salir del estacionamiento, los padres/tutores girarán a la derecha en Miller Rd y saldrán del campus. Los padres deben tener un signo de número en el lado del pasajero del parabrisas para nuestros supervisores de despido para ver. Autobuses: Los estudiantes que viajan en autobús a casa saldrán por la Puerta #1 y subirán a su autobús estacionado en el carril bus. El personal de apoyo ayudará a los estudiantes mientras caminan a sus autobuses. Los estudiantes deben escanear su Z-pass proporcionado por D300.
