Principal Leo LaBrie III
  • Dear Dundee Middle School Families,

I’m honored to work with the students, staff, and families of Dundee Middle School. As an administrator in District 300 since 2016, I look forward to continuing to work with our school community.

In my previous roles in education I taught French, Psychology, and AP Psychology at Richmond Burton Community High School. I also coached Football, Wrestling, and Baseball during my years at RBCHS. I attended Augustana College for my undergraduate degree where I obtained my certification in Secondary Education, French, and a minor in Psychology. While at Augustana College I was part of the Football Team for four years and stayed on to coach for a year before heading to France for my first teaching job.  I then attended Concordia University to obtain a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Aurora University to obtain a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.

As your principal, I will aim to carry on our mission to establish a safe learning environment, provide growth opportunities, and foster a sense of community in order to positively develop the whole child. Our vision is to create lifelong learners who possess the academic and social skills necessary to achieve their own personal success now and in the future. I understand what a crucial role that middle school plays in that journey and I know what it will take to succeed at the next level for these students. Most importantly, I’m going to make sure that each student will feel safe and valued at Dundee Middle School. You are putting a great deal of trust in our staff by allowing your children to attend this school. Our goal is to make this school a truly supportive and nurturing community that will bring out the best in all.

I appreciate your partnership in making this year a success.

    Go Cardunals!
