The Regularly Scheduled February 22 Board Meeting will Be Held in a Virtual Format

The District 300 Board of Education will host a Virtual Board Meeting on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 6 p.m.

An in-person meeting is not practical or prudent at this time because of pandemic related concerns. The District 300 Board of Education has received argumentative and divisive communications that have raised concerns about the safety of members of the public who would attend this Board Meeting. For these reasons, this Board Meeting will be conducted in a virtual format and can be viewed on the District 300 YouTube channel.

Additional Public Participation Information for Virtual Meetings:

Members of the public, especially residents of District 300, are welcome to contribute during public participation. Interested members of the public may submit written comments to be read during Public Participation by completing the form available at The form may be submitted beginning at 3 p.m. on Monday, February 21st, 2022 and must be submitted no later than 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022. Comments may also be submitted in writing and dropped off in the D300 dropbox outside the front doors of the District 300 Central Office located at 2550 Harnish Drive, Algonquin, Illinois following the same time parameters.

Participants must: be 18 or over to submit a comment. If you are under 18, please have a parent/legal guardian provide the comment on your behalf. Your public comment must include your full name. You are not permitted to mention the names of specific staff members or students in your submission. 

Public Participation will be limited to two hours total with each comment limited to three minutes. Based on the number of comments submitted, all comments may not be read within the two hours. Comments will be read in the order they are received. Any link to a website will not be read.
