Information and Meeting Dates for Parents of Incoming Kindergarten Students
District 300 families preparing to enroll their child (or children) into kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year are encouraged to visit www.d300.org/KindergartenRoundup to view an informational video detailing the kindergarten experience, including overviews of a typical day from academic, social, and emotional perspectives.
Additionally, parents and guardians are invited to attend a Virtual Kindergarten Question and Answer Session via Zoom. Please note, District 300 strongly encourages all parents to review the information on d300.org/Kindergarten prior to attending the meeting.
Kindergarten Question and Answer Sessions will be held virtually via Zoom on:
- March 8 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. - (the meeting can be accessed by clicking this link)
- March 9 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. - (the meeting can be accessed by clicking this link)
Parents and guardians can submit questions in advance of (or during) the meeting by using this submission form.
Please note: For those who do not have Zoom installed on a computer or smartphone, this meeting can also be accessed via a web browser. The district has created a video tutorial instructing parents how to access Zoom via a web browser and it is available by clicking here.
In addition to the Kindergarten Question and Answer Sessions, District 300 will host two Dual Language Program Question and Answer Sessions via Zoom.
Please note: All parents and guardians interested in enrolling their child into the Dual Language Program must complete the following application by March 22. It is also strongly recommended that interested parents and guardians attend one of the virtual questions and answer sessions listed below:

Please note: students must be five years of age by September 1st to be eligible for kindergarten and the Dual Language Program. If a student turns five after September 1st, but prior to October 16th, the parent can complete a request form for early entrance consideration.
