Rotary Club of Dundee Township Offers Leadership Conference to Select High School Students

The Rotary Club of Dundee Township is offering a free leadership conference for high school students who reside in Dundee Township.  The conference is called RYLA: Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.  Students selected to participate in RYLA will attend an all-expense-paid three day camp at Edwards Camp and Conference Center in East Troy, Wisc.  The camp dates are November 14-17 2019, March 12-15, 2020, or April 2-5, 2020.  Talented young people from communities all around our area participate in this conference every year.  Programs at the conference include outdoor problem solving, team building, low ropes courses and featured speakers.  The activities at the conference emphasize leadership skills, personal development and citizenship.  The quote heard most often from high school students who attend RYLA is, “It was a life changing experience!”

This is a great opportunity to build leadership skills and would look good on a resume or college application.  Click HERE for the brochure.  To apply for RYLA, click HERE for the application.  Email the completed application, BY OCTOBER 15, 2019 for the November session, to Colleen Thomas at Colleen@CGTLaw.com.  Applications for the March and April sessions are due by February 10, 2020.  Please contact Colleen Thomas at 847.426.7990 for more information.
