District 300 strives to implement a comprehensive assessment system that measures and communicates student learning and program effectiveness to all stakeholders.

Assessment Mission

This balanced assessment system supports the belief that all students are capable of success. Therefore, all assessments will:

• Represent evidence of learning
   
• Drive instructional practices and modifications to curriculum
   
• Align with Illinois State Standards of Learning and/or National Standards
   
• Identify students’ needs
   
• Identify teachers’ needs
