Goal Statement

District 300 would like to ensure all parents, guardians, students, staff members, community members, and taxpayers have a voice in guiding the district’s decision-making. 

Priority Tasks for the 2023-24 School Year

• Priority Task 4A: Formalize a process to review, evaluate, and improve stakeholder channels to promote effective two-way communications.

• Priority Task 4B: Increase parent awareness of key events, processes, and procedures.

• Priority Task 4C: Increase stakeholder awareness of the strategic plan goal areas, priority tasks, and KPIs.

• August 23, 2023 - District 300 publishes Communication Guidelines document for parents and guardians
   

• August 22, 2023 - A presentation to the Board of Education regarding a status update for Goal 4
   

• August 17, 2023 - Notable Changes for the 2023-24 School Year message emailed to all District 300 parents (as the result of parent feedback)
   

• August 15, 2023 - Communication Guidelines and Tips for Parents and Guardians emailed to all District 300 parents.
   

• July 18, 2023 - A presentation to the Board of Education regarding Goal 4 - Priority Task 4C: Increase stakeholder awareness of the strategic plan goal areas, priority tasks and KPIs
