Summer Reading 2019
To promote literacy during the summer, middle and high school students have the opportunity to read books off of the best of the best reading lists and articles during the summer.
Students can enter the contest by submitting a review for the book they’ve read along with participating in discussions on the #D300Reads Haiku Page.
Ten winners will receive a $20 Barnes and Noble gift card. Winners will be selected based on the creativity of their review and their participation on the discussion boards. In addition, bi-weekly raffles will be given.
Winners will be announced on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter on August 13th.
Please note: there is not required summer reading list this year. Students are encouraged to read any book that interests them and to enter our #D300Reads contest. However, please note that some students, including AP students, may be required to read a certain book over the summer. In these cases, a student's teacher should have already provided the student with their summer reading assignment.
