The Standing Committee of the Board of Education studies and reviews the finances of District 300 to make recommendations to the Board of Education which includes the following:
- Monitors and reviews annual budget, tax levies, major expenditures, payment of obligations, annual audit, and other aspects of the District's financial operation.
- Monitors and reviews state standards for financial review to ensure the district is improving the financial status.
- Monitors and reviews Administrative recommendations for budget reductions and or allocations of surplus funds.
- Oversees Technology to ensure efficiency of operations and advancement
