I have been teaching at Algonquin Lakes Elementary for five years. I am excited to begin another school year here! I am grateful that I am able to wake up each morning and work in a profession that I love to do with a great faculty and staff as well.

I attended Western Illinois University and earned my bachelor degree in December 2006. After I began teaching, I started my master's program through Grand Canyon University. I earned my master degree in August 2009. I am currently working on earning my National Board Certification.

In free time I like to play with my daughter, Joslyn, who is three. We like to take walks, go to the park, play dress up, make art projects, and play with her cousins! In my free time I like to read, write poetry, go camping, and enjoy time with my friends and family.
