I grew up in Crystal Lake, IL, which is right next door to Algonquin.  I graduated from Central High School in 2001, and went to the Unviersity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for my undergraduate degree.  I received my BA in the Teaching of Spanish in 2005, and began working at Jacobs that fall.  I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in January of 2009.

I have broken two bones in my body, my elbows are double-jointed, and I am left-handed.  I enjoy cold pizza more than hot, which most people find unappealing.  I love horseback riding, reading, and being outside (and not being sunburned!).
