The second term covers more of the basic principles of law encountered in everyday transactions carried on by the individual.  The rights of holders of commercial paper, creditor rights & bankruptcy, agency & labor/employment laws, forms of business organizations and government agencies will be explored.  In addition, minors & the law, marriage and family issues, personal property & bailments, real property, the landlord-tenant relationship, insurance laws and wills/trusts will be covered.  The students will be able to participate in a Mock Trial, whereby they themselves will play the roles involved in a mock trial, and then decide the outcome of the case.
