Our All-Star of the Week for this week will be Gabriel. One day he will play for the Chicago Blackhawks, but until then, we look forward to seeing the things that he will bring in to share with us!

Parents, please remember that your All-Star needs to fill out the sheet that is sent home on Friday so that your child can fill out the All-Star poster on Monday. Also, please remember to send in your child's favorite book to share on Tuesday. On Wednesday, your child will read the letter you write and on Thursday, your child can bring things in to share for show and tell. Friday the class will write the All-Star a letter and those letters will be turned into an All-Star of the Week keepsake book.

Borders in Algonquin is currently having a promotion in which they are collecting donations for "a local literacy program." The school currently benefiting from this is ALES. Please help support our literacy program here at school! We can never have too many books!

Parents, ALES is in need of gently used sweatpants (of all sizes) to use in the office for kids that may need to wear them temporarily. If you have any that you could send, please send them in with your child.
