All Star of the Week
Each child in class will have the opportunity to be the All-Star of the Week. The Friday prior to your child's special week, I will send home sheet for them to fill out. They will then bring in the sheet and copy it onto our All-Star poster on Monday morning. Each day will entail something special for your child. Here is the schedule for how each day will look:
Monday: Fill out the poster
Being All-Star comes with several perks. Your child will also get to read in the bean bag during silent reading time all week long!
Tuesday: Share a Book
Bring a favorite book in to share with the class during snack time.
Wednesday: Note from You!
Write your child a special note. The note will be saved and added to a special All-Star memory book.
Thursday: Show and Tell
Send in some special (non-breakable) things that your child can share with the class. Some examples are trophies, soap box derby cars, pictures, or anything else that is important to your child.
Friday: Memory Book
The class will write a letter to your child telling them why they think they are a special member of our team. The pages will be bound and your child will take it home as soon as it's done!
