Welcome to 3rd Grade!

I am excited for our learning adventure! There are many things to learn in third grade. In addition to expanding on our reading and writing skills we will be taught cursive handwriting, multiplication, division, insects, the solar system, and much more.

Please read further to get to know a little about me! 

This is my first year as a teacher in District 300. I worked as a 3rd Grade Teacher's Aid at Gilberts Elementary last year and completed my Student Teaching in 2004 at Lincoln Prairie Elementary. I live in Geneva with my husband Matt, third grade step-son Alek and we are expecting a baby girl early this April. Our family enjoys doing many activities outside such as going to the pool, for bike rides, or playing a the park. In my free time I enjoy scrapbooking, making cards, cooking and reading a good book!
