Biographical Information:

Thanks for checking the classroom web site.  During the month of October, the kids will be working on reading Halloween Literature.  We will be reading two stories about pumpkins, and "Arthur's Halloween".  We will continue to stress the importance of writing in complete sentences and we are learning about the parts of speech: nouns, verbs, and adjectives.  Please keep your children reading at home.  At home reading is very important for our young learners.

In math we will be begin our unit on numbers to 1000.  The kids will also need to compare numbers and determine which is greater using place value.  Practice greater than and less than symbols with your kids if you want to keep them prepared and ready to excel in math!

Please don't hesitate to call me if you have any questions or concerns.
