Welcome to the webpage for Mrs. Trac's 3rd and 4th grade LDSC!
About Me:
I am excited to start my 6th year teaching at Algonquin Lakes Elementary School! I graduated from Northern Illinois University and I am a learning and behavior specialist. I have always had a passion for working with children and before I began teaching I spent time babysitting, nannying and tutoring. Outside of the classroom I enjoy reading, swimming, traveling and spending time with family and friends. My husband and I enjoy traveling, photography, racing and camping with friends.
About My Classroom:
This year we are starting with 14 students in 3rd and 4th grade. We are lucky to have 2 paraprofessionals to assist in making a strong learning environment for all students be academically and socially successful. Inside the classroom I have a class library in a carpeted reading area. Our classroom technology includes: 2 student computers, a television, a dvd/vhs player and our newest addition to the classroom is a SMARTBOARD! We are extremely fortunate to have one mounted in our classroom for daily use!
Academics & Services:
Students will be improving their reading, math and language arts skills based on their current IEP goals in large groups, small groups or individually based on their abilities. Science and Social Studies will be a modified grade level curriculum to meet the needs of the students. Speech, OT, PT, APE and Social Work services will be dictated by the student's IEP.
