My primary responsibility is to support the Director of Grant Management and Programs complying with either ISBE or designated party for each individual grant I am responsible for whether it be federal, state, or private (approximate total of 6.5M). These responsibilities include budgeting and preparation for grant approval on an annual basis as well as reporting each grant on a quarterly basis to ISBE and to the Northern Kane Regional Voc Ed Office.  I also oversee salaries, fringe benefits, extra-pay, substitute teachers, purchasing of materials/equipment, conference expenses, and any other expenses such as transportation, SES, Choice, field trips that may occur within a particular grant.  Beginning in FY 12, most all grants will be reported on a monthly basis versus quarterly due to new federal guidelines.
