LESSONS AND FULL ORCHESTRA REHEARSALS

LESSONS

Each student has a 30-minute lesson per week with students playing the same instrument.

Each week we are learning new material and build on what we have previously learned.

Lessons are during the school day so each student will miss some time in their classroom. Be sure to check the assignment list to see what you need to do to make up anything you miss.

If you do not have your instrument the day of your lesson you are still expected to come and find out what we will be doing.

FULL ORCHESTRA REHEARSALS

Full orchestra rehearsals will begin the first week of November. These rehearsals combine all the orchestra students from each school. These rehearsals also take place during the school day but since both band and orchestra meet at the same time classroom teachers are unlikely to teach new material at this time.
