Philosophy:
As a library media specialist I teach information literacy through the content areas, enhance learning activities through technologies, build reading literacy, and provide access to information and resources. The library media lessons are based on the Information Literacy standards as outlined by District 300. I will bring the technology components into the lessons as appropriate to the Information Literacy Standards. I really enjoy working in a school media center and am excited about being here.
I hope to create a life-long love of reading and learning in all students. I am looking forward to a great year in the Library Media Center.
