Books are My Best Friends
Books are the greatest resource. I love reading, and I love to learn! Learning should be fun and should be a life-long goal.
I have worked for D300 since 1971. Back in 1971, I opened the first school library/media center in the district at Eastview Elementary. Thirty-seven years later, I love being in the library/media center as much as I did in my very first year. Algonquin Lakes is a great place to work.
I have a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology and a Masters in Administration from NIU. I have my Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago in Curriculum and Instruction, and Gifted. I am also a Nationally Board Certified Teacher in Library Media.
I am married with 2 grown children. My daughter is married and lives in Crested Butte, CO. She has one daughter, my first and only granddaughter. My son is married and lives and works in Chicago.
In my free time I love being with my friends from Algonquin Lakes, golfing, traveling, participating in book clubs and going out to eat.
