I have been teaching for twenty-four years, and am lucky enough to being doing what I dreamed of doing since I was in Third Grade! I have taught Kindergarten, First, and Fourth Grade. I also have six years of business experience having first worked in the private sector, which didn't come near the joys that I have experienced for the many years as a teacher.
Away from school, I love baking, gardening, boating, and travelling. My husband and I have a daughter, who is currently attending SIU, Carbondale, where I also earned my undergraduate degree. I earned my Master's Degree from The University of St. Mary, in Lebonworth, Kansas. I work with amazing people at Algonquin Lakes. I also have kept in touch with many former students, which is one of my favorite aspects of being a teacher. It's so cool to see the type of adults students become and where their life experiences take them. I look forward to many more years of teaching and connecting with your wonderful children!
