To better serve District 300 staff members with their decision-making about which records to keep and which are appropriate to discard, the Department of Communication Services now offers an online Records Management Policies and Procedure Guide. This webpage is intended to provide D300 departments and staff members with the information required to identify, manage and dispose of public records appropriately. Records management also affords legal protection for the District as well as satisfying federal, state and administrative statutory requirements. The program is coordinated by D300 Archives Manager Everlean Dodson, who can be reached at (847) 551-8388 or by email: everlean.dodson@d300.org.

Note regarding BUNKER HILL STORAGE FACILITY: Due to limited space, the Bunker Hill warehouse will ONLY accept Central Office and Student Cumulative Records for storage.  All other school files/records must be retained on school property.

Note regarding STUDENT RECORDS:  The D300 Archives Manager does NOT handle the storage of student records. For guidance on locating or storing student records, please directly contact your school secretary or, for special education students, call the Department of Education Services at (847) 551-8307.
