Dear Parents,
I hope everyone had a very restful and family-filled weekend. Thanksgiving means many things to many people, and for me being thankful for what I have has evolved and changed over the years. As I tell the teachers all the time, the one thing you can count on is change. Although the faces I saw at Thanksgiving were different from last year, I realized how thankful I was for what I have had remained unchanged. I hope you all had the opportunity to feel the same.
Parent teacher conferences can be stressful and at the same time enjoyable for all parties involved. If you still have questions relating to your conference, please contact your child's teacher. The amount of time we have to discuss progress is very limited, but never hesitate to call if you have a question. I have always found conferences to be an opportunity to grow and be very rewarding.
As we get closer to the new year, I hope everyone has their New Year's resolutions ready. I am very proud of the parents and teachers of Eastview who put children's best interests in education first. It is wonderful being a part of not only my family, but the parents, students, and teachers who make up the Eastview family. We are going to have the opportunity to celebrate those relationships several times before this school year is over. I look forward to them all.
During the holiday season, I hope everyone has the opportunity to spend more time with loved ones. I can't wait to see my daughter's face when she wakes up in the morning on the 25th. I wish the best to everyone, and please never hesitate to stop by and say hello or mention something that may concern you.
The very best to everyone! Happy Holidays!!
Sincerely,
Mr. Z
