Newsletters (The Leader)

District 300 Communication Services prints two editions each year of our community newsletter, which is called The Leader. The first edition is typically printed in the summer (June/July), and the second edition is typically printed in the early spring (February/March). Both editions are mailed directly to all addresses in the school district using reduced/bulk postage rates. Printing costs are controlled largely through the paid advertisements at the center of the publication. To advertise, please contact Creekside Printing at 847.888.1150.

The district also publishes The Leader in a digital format in the Fall (October/November), Winter (December/January), and Spring (April/May). No hard/printed copies are available for the Fall, Winter, or Spring editions; they are only printed online and emailed to parents and staff. Therefore, it is more important than ever that all D300 families have a current email address on file, so that they receive this important information. At least 1 in 3 student households do not currently have an email address on file. DO YOU? If not, please call your school today!
