Welcome Back from the District 300 Board of Education

The District 300 Board of Education would like to welcome all students, staff, parents, guardians, and community members to the 2017-2018 school year!

The Board of Education remains committed to District 300’s central mission: to ensure all students are college or career ready upon graduation. For the new school year, we are excited to expand our 1:1 program to our high school students. Now, all 1st grade through 12th grade students will have their own Chromebook (and our pre-k and kindergarten students will have access to iPads). All District 300 students will continue to expand their 21stcentury learning skills with access to new curriculum with embedded online materials for English language arts, science, and math. We are extremely proud of District’s enhanced and innovative approaches to provide impactful curriculum for our students.

The beginning of each school year brings excitement and promise. We look forward to celebrating our district’s successes during upcoming Board meetings. Our community can stay updated on the latest Board of Education information, including meeting dates, agendas and video recordings by visiting http://www.d300.org/board-education.

We wish our entire District 300 community a great start to the new school year.

Sincerely,
