Securly Information

District 300 uses a program called “Securly” to ensure students are engaging in safe internet practices on their school issued devices.

Beginning November 15th, you will receive a weekly email from Securly.com that will provide a preview of your child’s online activity for the sites he or she visits while off-campus (please note: if your child does not take his or her device off-campus, you will not receive an email from Securly). This message will be sent to any email address you have designated as a primary guardian in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Once you have received the initial email from Securly, you can login into the Securly Parent Portal by clicking on the link in the email (please note: the “Securly Parent Portal” is different from the “Infinite Campus Parent Portal” frequently used by District 300 parents and guardians).

If you do not wish to receive a weekly email from Securly, simply click “unsubscribe,” located in the bottom left corner of the email.

To enter the Securly Parent Portal, click on the "go to my parent portal" link or the “sign up” link at the bottom of your weekly email. You will then be asked to check two boxes followed by clicking on, “yes, please set up my account.”

You will receive an email with login and password information. After you set up your account, you can enter the Securly Parent Portal any time by going to www.securly.com and clicking on “login.”

You can refer to the D300 1:1/Haiku Information website for detailed information on how to read the activity, flagged and settings areas of the portal by clicking here: http://www.d300.org/OneToOneResourcesHomepage

For individuals who would like additional support with Securly, Digital Learning Coaches will be available to provide assistance during parent teacher conferences.

Please note: your school is not able to assist with Securly Parent Portal questions, so please email help@securly.com if you have any further questions.

If you have any questions or need assistance with Securly, please contact help@securly.com.

If you identify a website that you believe to be questionable, please contact WebSafety@d300.org.
