Join District 300 and Kane County Judges for a presentation on Worries of the World Wide Web on April 5th at 6:30pm at Dundee Middle School
While technology creates convenience in our lives and helps keep us in touch with our kids, as parents, we know danger can lurk in the files contained on cell phones and computers.
“Worries of the World Wide Web” is a 50-60 minute program created to increase awareness of how the web may impact the lives of students who participate in or are impacted by cyber bullying, electronic harassment and sexting.
The presenters for this session are Kane County Associate Judges Kathy Karayannis and Alice Tracy. This presentation by Judges Karayannis and Tracy is the same presentation given to District middle school students all over Kane County and focuses on the potential consequences of having possession of inappropriate photos, texts, or other materials and what to do if they are sent to a student by a third party.
