All piano students in grades 3 to 12 are now invited to register for the upcoming Community Unit School District 300 Piano Festival.
The noncompetitive annual event is in its fourth decade and open to the public. It will be held Tuesday, March 23, at Westfield Community School, located at 2100 Sleepy Hollow Road in Algonquin.
Students can pick up entry forms from elementary general music teachers as well as middle and high school music teachers. Forms are also available by clicking here.
The deadline to enter the festival is Friday, February 5. Forms must be mailed or delivered by Feb. 5, 2010, to: Cathy Storm, School District 300 Administration Center, 300 Cleveland Ave., Carpentersville, IL 60110. A $5 check, payable to District 300, must accompany the entry form.
Piano festival programs which list the room and time assignment for each student will be delivered to district schools on March 12.
