News and Announcements

The District 300 Board of Education would like to welcome all students, staff, parents, guardians, and community members to the 2017-2018 school year!

The “Durham Bus Tracker” improves communication for parents and students who ride District school buses.

Our transportation partner, Durham School Services, has developed a phone app allowing parents to securely view the location of their child’s bus in relation to their assigned bus stop.

The D300 Transportation Department welcomes you back to school!

Have you heard about the INCubatoredu program at Dundee-Crown High School?

In now its 3rd year, INCubatoredu@dchs provides students with the opportunity to learn firsthand the ins and outs of starting a business. Students enrolled in the program work in teams to create and fully develop their own product or service resulting in a functioning business.

District 300 has been made aware of the allegations and subsequent charges involving a former substitute teacher. Upon notification, the District cooperated fully with the Carpentersville Police Department in the investigation of this matter. In accordance with our policy, once we became aware of the allegations, the District took steps to immediately suspend any and all subsequent employment and to bar this individual from having any contact with our students, staff, or schools.

As a reminder, all incoming Early Childhood (first time students), Kindergarten, 6th grade, 9th grade, and 12th grade students must be up-to-date with physical examination and immunization requirements before August 1, 2017.

District 300 participates in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) allowing the district, through its partnership with Aramark, to offer school breakfast and school lunch to our students at all schools*.   Meal prices for 2017/2018 at the D300 schools will be $1.50 for breakfast and $2.85 for lunch.  Families are invited to complete a Household Eligibility Application to determine if they are eligible to receive meals for free or at a reduced price ($0.30 for breakfast or $0.40 for lunch).
