WHAT IS RELAY FOR LIFE OF D300?

Students of all ages, parents, faculty, staff and community members throughout District 300 are encouraged to participate in the 6th Annual D300 American Cancer Society Relay For Life. It will be from 6 p.m. Friday, April 4, to 6 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, inside Dundee-Crown High School in Carpentersville. Please check back for registration information.

WHAT IS RELAY?

  • D300 Relay For Life is NOT run or a race!
  • It is an overnight relay-style event.
  • Teams of people camp out around a track.
  • Members of each team take turns walking around the track for the duration of the event.
  • Food, games and activities provide entertainment and fundraising opportunities to benefit cancer research and services through the American Cancer Society.
  • It provides a family-friendly environment for the entire community. All ages are welcome! Join the fun and experience the tradition.
  • Because it's a Relay, you're not required to be there the entire time...but it's so fun, you'll probably find it hard to leave!
