We will have a final work night. We discussed meeting on February 12, but that is the ski trip. To accommodate as many people as possible, I will instead stay after both Wednesday and Thursday (the 10th and 11th) from 3:30 until 5:30 in the LMC. Come to either or come to both; just let Mrs. Hamrick know which you will be attending. We will focus on thesis statements and bibliographies, but will also start putting boards together. Tell Mrs. Hamrick if you need a board; you'll have to pay, but she can buy one for you. Mrs. Hamrick will bring all her scrapbooking materials to share for boards.
All boards due to Mrs. Hamrick by February 19th. She will evaluate them, and tell you if you need to fix or add anything before the regional fair. You'll get them back by Monday.
February 27th is the history fair at NIU. It will be an all day affair. Mrs. Hamrick is working on getting a bus paid for, but she will let you know. You will need money for lunch and games. All members are welcome (and encouraged) to attend, whether or not you did a project. Come root your fellow members on! Permission slips to follow.
Our next activity will be a game night is March. Our next field trip will be to a World War 2 restaurant and museum in April.
Our next meeting will be March 22 (afternoon) or March 25th (morning). See me if you can not attend.
We are planning a game night for March and our other field trip for April.
