Special thanks to Mrs. LeStarge for bringing in all kinds of neat things from China to show us! We really enjoyed learning about China and the unique customs and traditions Chinese people share.
Our class holiday party will be on Thursday, December 15th. The party is on Thursday because our holiday sing along will be on Friday. Please encourage your child to continue to read over break.
We will meet again at ALES on Tuesday, January 3rd. We have lots of fun and exciting things to learn for the remainder of our school year. I am excited for all that is coming up in this new year! Your child's trimester 2 midterm pregress report will be sent home Friday, January 13th. Please look for that in his or her Boomerang Folder that day. Also, we do not have school on Monday, January 16th in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
We will have our classroom Halloween Party on Monday, October 31st. This day is only a half day of school. Please send your child's costume to school in a labeled bag. The kids will change at school before the parade and party.
The parade will begin at 9:15am (weather permitting). The party will follow and lunch will be eaten at school at 10:40.
Dismissal will be at 12pm on that day. Please be sure to have arrangements in place!
Open House is Tuesday August, 30 at 6:30pm. I look forward to meeting you and sharing about our classroom! We have been getting our classroom ready and have lots to show you. Your child will help me tell you about Wrigley- our class mascot, and will even help me explain the 8 Keys of Excellence.
