Survey Monkey in D300

Infinite Campus has the ability to give surveys and calculate results. We use Infinite Campus if you are surveying students or teachers. We also have survey access through Survey Monkey. We use Survey Monkey for surveys for parents and community and very large groups.

If you would like to use the Survey Monkey facility, please contact Patty Slowik, (847) 551-8366 or via email patty.slowik@d300.org to gain access to the site and to construct your survey. Surveys can be constructed using a variety of questioning techniques, such as Likert scales or open-ended questions. Surveys can be given by sending in email addresses of people you would like to complete the survey or they can be administered through the D300 website and you would then inform people to go to that site to take the survey. The survey results can be compiled by Survey Monkey and sent to a designated staff person.

If you would like to look at the site to see how it works,

1. Go to www.surveymonkey.com

2. In left hand box on the home page, sign in and hit enter:

Patty Slowik can give you a user name and password, or she can develop the survey if you give her the questions and people you want to fill it out, as well as a timeline.

3. To view current surveys, hit any one by their titles (please just view, do not design, edit or any of the other options following the survey title on the listing)

4. To create a new survey, go to the bar at the top of the screen and hit "New Survey"; the program walks you through the process.

Please do NOT make any new surveys without contacting Patty Slowik first (patty.slowik@d300.org  or call 847 551-8366) and please make sure that she clears all of the survey options, survey questions, and purposes before it is administered
